Did you put the cable on yourself or was it like that from the factory?

The problem here is that the stock strings that pse is using nowadays is garbage. My string on my stinger was starting to go bad on me after only a couple months of shooting it and I am already having issues with the string on my pse sinister also. I would recommend getting a good string from a reputable source. I plan on getting me a custom string made for mind once turkey season is over with.

These are factory strings. I am glad, I am not the only PSE owner with this issue. I figured they just suck at building strings. Hutch explained to me that its a Hard Bend on a Cam pin. So I am ordering better strings, I'm gonna shoot a few more shots then replace it when Hutch sends me my new strings.

Good luck having that not happen with any cable on a curve like that. My RKT cams did the same thing on both factory and high end customs. The string is being bent at such an angle that the serving cannot stay together on the out side of the curve.

I hear that the PSE strings are junk, but like the others have said, I think any string bent at that angle will do the same.

PSE isn't the only one cutting corners on factory strings.

Custom strings from a reputable builder will solve a lot of tuning issues, and make your bow much more consistent.

Those strings look shot out. When the serving starts to separate, your peep starts to twist, cams get out of time or ATA changes, it's time to get some new ones.

This really isn't that bad and I doubt it will ever be a problem. It us just in a tight spot and there will be some separation. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse or you see the string starting to fray in that area, get it replaced.(stock strings probably need to be replaced anyway)

Sometimes custom strings will solve the issue and sometimes it won't. There are things that can be done to prevent it but most don't mess with it.

My factory strings on my Brute X lasted a good year of heavy practice and hunting. I upgraded a month ago to Vaportrail strings, you should upgrade your strings.

I am with TFox on this. get a set of custom strings if you want but I doubt very much you have a differ. What you see is what you have by virtue of the design, any cable is going to have some separation on the serving at that angle, and quite franky that cable doesn't look that bad.
I would keep and eye on it replace it when it showed damage to the string. Another option is to just reserve cable if the serving is just the issue.

Giving Hutch&Sons a shot. Seems like a lot of people on this board, and some other boards really likes them.
