Duck hunting looks like a lot of fun. I've always thought they were beautiful animals, we just don't have any where I live. I do think it would be a blast to hunt them. I'd be thrilled to photograph a duck hunt as well. I bet there are some beautiful images on the water with ducks.
Gaddy shoot yesterday.. 6 mallards 2 teal 1 shoveler and 9 gadwall. Bunch of real nice drakes too. And then a couple geese too.
Duck season's been over for a while, probably only going to get on a couple more snow goose hunts. Here's how it finished up for me. 1/5/12 nice two man limit. One of the funnest hunts all season. 1/7/12 1/8/12 1/11/12 1/16/12 1/19/12 last duck hunt of the season. Only one shot fired but at least there was a dead duck to show for it.
Nice!! We had a decent year here, nothing great. Didn't get to the Dakotas, which I heard from friends was spectacular this year.
