Gotta give credit where credit is dew, they sell 50 cent Chinese made duck calls to dumbazzes for big bucks, and their women show that that money can indeed buy happiness. :)

They want to sell calls and make money, my guess is that's why the brother does not appear in the show.

No difference between Hogan's, Robertson , Kardashians they just want to make money

I've had the reed out and inspected it. I put some rain-x on it (their suggestion) and installed it back. It didnt change a thing.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I want a call I can try first. there's an outdoor expo coming up at the end of Feb. and a lot of companies are there. My plan is to try those and talk to them... with the money from taking back that call.

Are you guys sure they aren't made in their shop in Louisiana?

    I've seen claims they are.

That's not to say the plastic shell wouldn't be purchased by a chinese manufacturer as most plastic is but they claim they are assembled and tuned in Louisiana.

My nephews make calls and they purchase their material through suppliers like anyone else and they may very well be chinese.

You're not going yo touch a true custom made call for $50. We had a very well known guy making calls in our shop and they were in the $100s but they were truly hand made.

Good idea on trying the call. I think I have a sound file of the C&S on my phone if you would like to hear it, pm me. It's a higher priced call but something to keep in mind for down the road someday. I was lucky enough to win mine!

These are some of the calls they make. They turn these on a lathe and purchase the reeds and the plastic ends.

    Those do look nice!

I will see if they're in the lineup at the show.

That's kind of my point with the $50 call. It's a high end manufactured product. It's not a fine tuned piece of art.

Throw a new one in a box and send it to me. You save face, have a happy customer that tells people they were taken care of. Not start post of them saying they're the worst customer service in the industry.

If you're talking about my nephew's, they won't be at any show. They are just a couple young guys just getting started in life and with the help of my stepdad , have found a nice little hobby and make some extra cash doing it.

They are MF calls and believe they are on facebook.

Those Duck Commander calls are probably being made by naked homosexual Communists in a Chinese sweat shop. The
Lord commandeth they outsource to the infidels.

It's about money and more power to them. They have done a great job marketing their "brand"

Anything that says Duck Dynasty is going to the A & E money vaults. I'm sure the Robertson family gets a cut somehow, but they make their money through Duck Commander and Buck Commander.

Whoever wrote that needs a serious lesson in economics and retail sales.

Yea, thats a pretty good jump from 60,000 to 750, 000 and they don't seem to understand they have cost involved in there too.

Not my point at all. I don't care if it said 72,949,022 calls, they don't pocket all the money from those sales. There's a lot of overhead, product cost, marketing, retailer markup, etc.

Like I said, they get their cut, but not all money from the Duck Dynasty brand goes into the pockets of the Robertson family.
