I agree with Sota, did I just say that?

Eight years of Bush disenfranchised the right, eight years of Obama disenfranchised the left. The advent of PACS and super PACS have created a virtual oligarchy. We have a corporate( and media ) Government partnership like history has never seen before. And now you finally have a consensus of the American electorate that understands for a fact that the American government no longer governs by and for the people. If this was 150 years ago the establishment political cast would be feeding the crows right now.

I heard a comment on the radio the other day and thought it was comical. on the debate stage the politcians should dress like nascar drivers. they should have to wear a suit with all their corporate sponsors on it and act like a puppet for there sponsors. kind of like the drivers drinking there bottle of coke. so if the corporate donor says to say something by god they better say it. so on stage we will see all these decorated sponsored candidates then over here trumps suit says me, myself, and, I. no corporations whispering in his early telling him what to say. and he can't get his funding pulled away either. I just thought it was funny to listen to that analogy. Hillary will need five suits for all her sponsors. we just won't know what they say because it will be in a different language.

    ROFL, true.
I'm actually starting to think Trump may just run away with this thing without much of a challenge. I'll say this though, he'd better be damn careful who he chooses as his VP pick. If he chooses Oprah, there's no way I could vote that ticket. He won't go establishment Republican, don't think he'll go Cruz either. I have no idea who he'd pick...

I've never understood why these races end up being full of flawed candidates. In the private sector there is a succession plan and endless grooming. Yet neither party can figure this process out to field a candidate that is free of skeletons in their closet with a solid resume (all be it along party lines). Mind boggling.

If you think that our current President has Socialist leanings. "you ain't seen nothing yet" if Bernie Sanders were elected.

The only difference is that Sanders is at least honest about it.

The promise of 'free' will win an awful lot of votes.

Not being a Romney fan but when he said "that 47% of the population would never vote for him",
he was wrong......... it was 52%.

Since the early 2000's when more than half of the American population either worked for or was supported by the government........

    we are in BIG trouble!!!!!!!!!

start cutting welfare and disability and you will see people getting back to work at an amazing rate. we need to put the pressure on these people. trust me I have a lot of welfare relatives that are perfectly capable of working. they are just dbags that are lazy. I love to get after them when I see them out cutting firewood when they are disabled. losers!!!! this is why I work for cash as much as possible so I feel like I'm not paying in to their cause.

Not to be unkind but income tax evasion is every bit as bad and as costly as welfare fraud in this country.

I take it you have a plan to address the immoral confiscatory taxes placed on Americans?

I would prefer a national sales tax vs tax based on income.

Too regressive for our current population. Most proposals lay it out as an inclusive tax so your banging on the 30% mark to recoup current revenue projections. That's going to be a hard sell. Lot of negatives associated with fair tax, that flat tax addresses. That said either if properly implemented would be better then our current abortion of a tax code.

Really pisses me off when a person who works seasonally and is collecting unemployment works cash side jobs. Pay your share otherwise you are a parasite.
