I feel your pain and your hunger. In 48+ years, wife had never had canned biscuits. Wife say it's too easy to make them from scratch. I had canned biscuits once. My mother had can of Pillsbury Grands. Upset her stomach. I had them while the wife and school staff went on a weekend trip to Pigeon Forge. Again, only time in 48+ years. I love biscuits and gravy. Thing is I am too impatient to make them at home so I go out to have them.
No disrespect to your mothers recipe, Thanksgiving I am making a biscuits and gravy egg bake for breakfast and it uses the canned biscuits.
