Well it was time, My 97 Bowtie silverado 4X4 has got 295,000 miles on it. Im not afraid to drive it anywhere and it has been the most dependable vehicle i have ever owned but im sure its days are numbered. I have been looking at the new Jeep Wrangler unlimited 4X4's but the new price was just a little overboard for me since i have two kids driving now also. I just happened to stop into a dealer the other day and seen no Jeeps, a salesman came out and asked what i was looking for. I said where are all the Jeep Unlimiteds, he said sold out  I told him i prefered a slightly used 08 if they could find one. He thought and said he thought there was one on one of there other lots that they could get in for me to look at. I asked and made sure it was a hard top and automatic and he said yep!! I went and looked at it today and after jewing him down to acceptable levels i drove it home  It has custom rims and tires on all 5 and just a slight lift and running boards. Its gun metal grey!!

    Nice ride crick

After 12 years with the same truck you deserve a new ride, but where are you going to put the deer you kill? Back seat? :d

Good point :d Im already building a 5X7 trailer to pull behind it for deer or my quad or both. Im also going to get or build one of those haul baskets that plug into the receiver for hauling deer. I just have to get the reciever now:deer:

I predict your first speeding ticket will occur June 26, given by a rent a cop on a tricked out golf cart!

hard top and automatic....well atleast it is a jeep and not one of those damn H3's!!

Nice ride either way!! I would love to add another jeep to my arsenal...but with 3 kids, they don't hold enough people.

Congrats, Dan!! I love those rigs  I've worked on quite a few, and the first time I drove one, I couldn't believe how well they handled. Very smooth ride :d

Im sure those back seats fold down. then just lay a tarp down and throw the deer in the back, That's what I do with my Grand Cherokee.
