How many of you have already given up on your plots due to this drought we are experiencing? I planted Buckwheat because I understood it would grow on a rock with little to no rain. I'm beginning to have doutes that even true. I lost my turnups last year in just over a week's time due to no rain. One day it was looking good then the next week it was all over.

The plot I planted this spring is a total loss. I'm hoping to get out there in about a month and try it again with a fall seed of some sort.

Plots we planted this Spring are crap. Hoping we have better luck in a month or so when we tear it up and replant :(

This was my first year planting a food plot. I planted soybeans May 19th and they are suffering bad. Time will tell what actions il do but next year I think I will stay away from spring plantings & just plant a fall plot in August.

This is why I don't waste time and money with spring plantings. No thoughts of planting for 3-4 weeks yet
