Has anyone seen this show? I dont know how long ago it was on tv, but I watched a few episodes on demand and got hooked. It is more of a survival show than it is hunting.

Yeah I just saw that tonight. It was awesome. I thought they were going to end up losing it in the river

Love the show, and they learned alot before they went out. Like preserving the meat and bear proofing.

Yeah but didn't you keep saying to yourself " I wish he would've shot that big moose with a bow" what a trophy that would've been. I know they were out of food and that was the first moose they've seen in weeks.
    Cool show.

Was not overly impressed with the guys abilities as hunters...and spent a little too much time making excuses instead of getting after it...but I enjoyed the show just for the scenery and learning more about survival and meat care in the AK backcountry.

Show reminds me alot of dual survival. For those of u that haven't seen it I strongly recommend it. The guys on that show are the real deal when it comes to surviving dangerous situations. They get are put in real life situations and have to find a way to survive them. Last episode I saw they had a broken down car in the middle of the desert with minimal supplies.

Ya, Dave Canterbury has been around for years. He has run a survival school called The Pathfinder School in southeast Ohio for a long time now and has a youtube channel where he teaches all kind of useful survival techniques. I have been a fan of Dave's books and channel for a wile before the show started, don't know much about the Cody guy though.

The other guy is Cody Lundeen (sp?). He teaches desert survival and is a primitive living freak. The guy never wears shoes unless he absolutely has to and doesn't like using manufactured products or food.

Go to Sports < NBC Sports < Hunting, for the free stuff, for anything else you need the outdoors package. Also Thursday night is hunting night on NBC Sports if you want to catch the shows when they air.
