So my brother was goofing with my bow and because he was not gripping it well, he dropped it about 3.5 feet onto tile floor, landing on its bottom cam, and then on its doinker stabilizer (which broke) After the drop the draw length was a little bit shorter after pulling it back a few times thinking it may have been me, but it was shorter. Then I noticed this cable was out of place and looked like this when it should look like this Now I checked for cracks in the bow and could not find any, I am curious, is there any damage that could have been done to the cables or bow by pulling on it without the cable being on its track? and is there any damage I should also be looking for?
I'd take it to your local bow shop and have them look it over. Any damage now could be minimal and easily fixable, if you keep messing with it you could not only break your bow worse, but potentially injure yourself with that bow. Play it safe
Exactly!!!! My bow is like my motorcycle, NoBody and I mean NoBody not even my mother can be a pilot on MY MOTORCYCLE!!!!!!!!!!!! But me!!!! NoBody handles MY BOW EXCEPT ME(AND of course my tech.) Someone asking to use my Bow or ride my Motorcycle is like asking me to sleep with my wife.......NOT HAPPENING!!!!
I hear ya guys, this is the moment in my life when I learn no one besides me is allowed to shoot my bow But any advice guys?
I gave it a few shots in the backyard and there does not seem to be any minor or major changes, but I will be taking it to my bow tech on monday just to make sure
Strinpuller is right, take it to a shop near you, you dont want to get hurt or damage bow even more, good luck.
My bow is like my wife....NO one handles it but me. I don't even let my buddies touch my bow...maybe my wife, but not my bow...lol
The is a PSE Rally, you can just "drag" that string back to the track. If you are not comfortable doing it, then bring it to a bow shop and learn how to do it.
If it's a pse rally go take a look on utube there is a video on how to do its there are two setting grow with you or constant peak setting it's just a case of putting the string on one or the other
At first I thought the cam moved but then noticed it's just the string in wrong spot, looks like a quick easy fix
Sorry about the delay, yeah I moved it back, brought it to a archery shop, they said it was fine, she shoots just as true as before Thanks for the help guys.
