Do you put a shell in the chamber while on foot when gun hunting? I do. I personally think that is probly more unsafe than a bow. JMO.
Apples to Oranges Maybe? A gun has a safety. Bullet is totally enclosed. A sharp broadhead hanging out while you are moving about concentrating on a game animal in the distance could lead to a bad situation. It's what the individual is comfy with, but at the very least realize the potential for something bad and be very careful. Some quivers used to not have hoods. I think it didn't take them long to figure that one out. Be Safe!! Dan
