QAD HDX and dont look back. There is a reason its the #1 rated and best selling drop away on the market
I had a QAD and then a Ripcord Code Red. I now have the Ripcord ACE and it is the best rest I have had.
I currently use the QAD HDX and really like it. I used the Trophy Ridge Revolution for 3 of the last 4 years and liked it. I used an NAP Apache in the odd year for the TR Revolution. Didn't like the Apache too much because I prefer the rest in the up position. I also used the Ripcord Code Red about 5 years ago. It worked fine.
I have the Hoyt branded QAD Ultra. It is the best because it is on my bow and works so I don't have to worry about buying a replacement.
used Ripchord, as well as a whisker bisquit, that actually is on right now. Most are great, but there is a peace about one less moving part that could possibly malfunction at the worst possible time. Choose wisely Joe! www.soundbarrierhunting.com

I had 3 QADs. All had issues and were very loud. Two got to the point where it was nearly impossible to cock it up with a pliers. I have 3 Ripcord Code Reds. Nice but a little noisy. Now I have 3 bows with a NAP Apache Carbon. AND of course I will always have one bow with the best hunting rest ever made.....the Whisker Biscuit.
Been using the Ripcord Code Red for the last few years...works great for me. I like the deep forks. I took the containment bar off the top, and still do't have any issues with arrows falling out even if i tip the bow pretty severely.
I ended up buying a PSE branded QAD Ultrarest. I'm liking it so far, other than the fact that the inside bottom colored fletch is hitting the inside part of my riser and leaving red streaks across it. It doesn't seem to be affecting accuracy though.
