6 stands within a 200yd-8/10 mile walk from my front door. I just foound public land about 8 miles from my house I will be doing a hunt on. I also forget from time to time how fortunate I am. When it hits me I try to remember to thank God for the blessing.
5 min 4 wheeler ride over the hill behind my house for my main spot, and 1.5 hr drive to a spot I'm gonna try to hunt for the first time this year.
150 yards to one spot, 1 minute to another, 3 minutes to another, 4 minutes, 20 mins, and 25 mins. Pretty short drives Thats got to be rough for you guys with 2+ hour drives, gotta have a good memory so you don't forget anything
Short drive 45 min long drive 2.5 hour. I try to stay on the longer drive ill sleep in the bed of the truck with the camper shell on.
I hope you guys posting travel time under 30min know how lucky you are. I just had a guy try to sell me on a lease an hour from my house for $7k a year. That's how lucky you guys are. Local hunting land is really valuable in south FL.
Anywhere from walking distance out my back door to about 1.5 hours in E Wa. These are all places I could hunt during the work week.
My stands at home are 200 yards or so. When I hunt with my neighbor it's about a 10 minute drive. Turkey hunting is about 90 minutes south to the Ohio River.
20 minutes, 30 minutes, and 2 hours to my 3 spots for this fall. In years past we've been driving 4-5 hours to get to our lease but luckily found one a bit closer for this year.
25 mins, 20 mins and 40 mins. A 2.5 hour drive constitutes a hunting trip to me, I better have a place to sleep.
2 hours from my front door to most of my hunting spots in the mountains. But we are usually camping in the mountains already so probably average about 30min. to where ever we decide to hunt that day.
I have five different properties I have access to and drive times go 10, 40, 40, 40,and 50 minutes. Off course, my best spot is the furthest.
