Archery elk in NC is on the bucket list, but the herd #s just don't seem to be cooperating. Caribou, elk, moose also on the list.

1, Elk hunt, self guided with a rifle don't care where, spot and stalking while camping
2, Bear hunt with a bow, would be ok with a guided hunt for this.

Beings I'm from alaska, I've done most of your dream hunts already. Its kinda crazy to see how the other side sees it.

I've always wanted to kill an illinois whitetail. And any hunt where I get to watch my father connect. Kudu in africa would be cool.

Moose would be awesome. Especially with a bow.

I had a Moose scare the crap outta me years ago in the 80s. I was on my way back from yellowstone. Had to whizz really bad, & was in the middle of nowhere. Pulled off the highway, & walked into the woods to let it fly. Mid stream, I hear an odd grunt. I look up & standing approx 15yards from me was a bull Moose..! It was the first time in my life (16yrs old at the time) that I stopped whizzin mid stream..lol. Was like somebody shut the valve off..haha. Would've been hillarious video. I backed out quickly, never taking my eyes off of Bullwinkle. Finished my relief on the side of the highway at the truck.

One of those experiences, I wish I could play the video tape in my head of it to share. Was pretty freaky yet, looking back...pretty funny. What a massive animal Moose is. I think taking one with a bow would be absolutely incredible. Definitely on the bucket list.

I have a son in law that killed a Moose a few years ago. Wow, delicious. I was impressed with the sirloin tips we had for dinner one night.
