I recently went and tried out a new bow at a local bow shop. I swear I heard the bow tech say he had set the bow at 31#, which is about 10# lower than my current bow. I do have a scale in my garage that I've used in the past to measure my draw weight. I'm now wondering if I may of been measuring it wrong. Is there a video that shows the correct way to measure draw weight? Or can someone tell me the proper way to measure?

Some bows have different let offs from 60 -80%. Mine is 75% let off. I just pull the bow down slow and watch the scale. Your set weight would be the highest weight on the scale before the let off starts to kick in.
