I have a unique question. I recently bought a bear homewrecker for my wife ( it was just a phase she was going thru) so i have this bow and i think the peak draw weight is 58# or so. I was curious if any of you guys would know if i can change out the cams to get a higher draw weight?
    Thanks for the Help...

The limbs would have to come from the manufacturer. You can probably send them an email and ask. I've never known a manufacturer to build a set of limbs outside what an on-the-shelf set would be. There's a lot of R&D into each limb and the cost of building an off set would be staggering.

Your best be would be to write the manufacturer and ask. Tell them your bow and what you want your poundage to be. It may be possible to use a set of limbs/cams off a different bow. Again, it may cost so much you might was well just trade it in on a new bow.

Is the draw length the same as yours? I'm assuming thats where you're going with this.

If so, there's nothing wrong with shooting 58#

I cant speak for bear, but my wife shoots a diamond razor edge, and they have a program that you can send the bow back to diamond and they have a limb swap program, they will put 70lb limbs on it for just a little bit of money. Send em an email and ask em whats up and if they do anything like that.

Thanks for the help. I have considered writing bear I am surely going to do that.
The draw lengh is actually alot shorter I opened the pin up a much as the bow would allow and its still shorter but not bad enough to effect accuracy.
Limb swapper would be ideal, thanks for the idea ill look into.
Ill let yall know what i find out for future questions

you could use a shorter bus cable (or add twists to the current cable) to increase preload on the limbs. I hafta add: do this at your own risk though. honestly it would be fine as limbs and strings are built with a lot of safety factor. you'll also hafta add twists to your string to compensate for the longer draw length a short bus will give you.
