Ok pretty new to modern compound bows .... as in I've been using the same Oneida Eagle I bought almost 15 years ago (Don't laugh the deer sure didn't!) anyways I decided it was time to update so I went and got a new PSE stinger for this year ... lightyears better!!!
On to the question ... the Oneida was super easy to set up ... didn't even need a press for any of it and changed the draw weight was as easy as cranking down the limb bolts the same amount and there lies my question .... is it still the same? ... the PSE is a 60 pound bow set @ like 55 .... if I bottom out both limb bolts and back them both off like 1/4 turn should I be @ or close to the max of 60 pounds and would there be any other adjustments needed after that other than the usual re sighting in?

Yes. Its the same. About 2 1/2 lbs per full turn. Dont go more than four full turns out.

Make sure you turn it the exact same amount on both. I would call pse or find the owners manual and check to see how much you can turn them. My bear say no more the 3 turns out

Some bows have limb pocket locking bolts that need to be loosened before you turn the limb bolts. I don't think the Stinger is one of them but just be aware of it when making poundage adjustments. Some manufacturers come in right on when the limbs are bottomed out and others are high of the mark. Go ahead and bottom them right out if you want/need the extra poundage. I've never seen any reason to back the limbs off and certainly not as much as 1/4 turn. If you do get a little limb noise out of the pocket I just barely come back off full crank. As was said above, be sure that you bring them out exactly the same amount top to bottom.
