Been out of bow hunting for a good long time. Need a refresher course on spine and arrow length. Will be shooting a Bear Anarchy. My draw length is 28.5. Any help on what my arrow length needs to be and my spine numbers would be very highly appreciated.

29.5 ish. Depending on the draw weight and a bunch of other stuff you could choose your spine. I would follow the brands chart for the arrow.

best way to determine arrow length is nock an arrow go to full draw and have a buddy mark the arrow just past your grip where a broadhead won't cut yer fingers... as for spine.. the main factor is poundage of the bow your shooting.. if close to the cut off between different spines then arrow length and tip weight comes into play as well...

poundage and efficiency of bow determines spine as well as weight of wrap, broadhead, and FOC. I usually cut my arrows to draw length on compound bows.

Is better to be over spined than under spined IMO
