any way to add of few xtra inches to a bow other than a loop???? got a great deal on a brand new bow but its max is 30" and my current set up is for 32" hmmmmmmmm
I just went to my local bow shop yesterday with this same question. I shoot a HOYT Katera XL with a 32'' draw. The guys first answer was longer d loop. We actually started testing some things and a lot of it has to do with the size of the bow. They had the New Destroyer 350. I actually got down to a 30'' draw with a normal d loop on this bow. May have a new bow in my near future
wow, i guess now that you mention it, it will vary bow to bow. i called my old shop in MN and they are working on it to see if they can add a different cam to help out. gosh i really hope this works out!!!!!!
laughing, Isaiah's about 6'4". If he can't get it to work for his draw length, I just checked, and I'm pretty sure I can handle the min of 25. hahahaha!
I have a 34" draw...6'6" also. I had to have different cam's put on my bow and it still has a few holes to go up if I had to. Just got a chrony tonight, gonna see what kind of speed I am getting
34"??? Well ... one good thing about it: You're not going to be tempted to buy a new bow every year, since most companies don't even come out with new bows that'll reach that dl... Wow.
aint that the truth.... my last bow was the switchback LD (long draw) Dreanlin had an LD a few yrs after that but nothing for a while.... hopefully the longer loop will let me get busy!
thats not all that off... could be the way each of us holds our bow arm/release/bow type i'll bet you're still cranking out some damn good KE! or you may have shorter arms???
yeah, I am somewhat jealous of those of you who can walk in and try a bunch of bows. I had to find a bow that was suitable for my draw and go with that...but my 38 Pro does 316 fps or so with a normal cam, should be fast enough and shoots well enough to last me quite a few years.
