Dr2 vs hyperlite

    i am looking at buying one of these 2 bows the dr2 is cheaper by 30 bucks (big deal) anyone have any info on these 2 bows that will let me make a better decision please help

    The Hyperlite is going to be about 3" shorter axle to axle and almost 1/2 a pound lighter.

    The DR2 has a roller guard over the slide style cable guard on the HL. Dr2 also has more sound dampening technology built into it.

    That's make take. Shoot them both. One will feel better than the other for you. If all things are equal, I'd take the DR2 unless you do a lot of still hunting.

    shot the dr2 yesterday and loved it....then i shot the new z7 and bought it....should be here soon....shoot them both and take the one that feels better in your hand.

    The HyperLite is built for mountian hunting where you're carrying the thing all day long up and down hill. If you're hunting out of a treestand for deer like 80% of hunters are, then I'd go with something more stable and forgiving. I bought my DXT 6 months before they came out with the HyperLite or I'd own one for goat hunting. The DXT is an awesome bow though so I don't really complain too much.

    Stalking or walking through the woods. Moving a lot and having to carry your bow the whole time.
