Dr James Kroll says brassicas are useless

    That's because your area doesn't have anything else for the deer to eat up there in Iowa, there's no deer food. You should be planting lots of forage oats and uhm...I dunno....something else. You're poisoning your deer by forcing them to eat those damn brassicas.

    Probably right. Come to think of it, if my deer are eating all those toxic bulbs I should stop eating deer. meat's probably tainted.

    My dad preached "every man should eat a deep green leafy vegetable every day." He was big about kale especially.

    The only thing toxic about kale or any other brassica is the flatulence that follows human consumption of them.
