I have been wanting a pack to carry my Double Bull but I refuse the pay the kinds of prices they are asking for some of these things. Then I remembered an old pack frame my stepdfad had hanging in his garage for atleast the last 10 years that hadn't moved. So I asked if I could have it and he gave it to me.I used some stuff I had laying around and ended up with a chair, blind and and even pouches for accesories. There is even a tripod seat for the kids.I could also strap my bow to the pack if needed.

Not as nice as the high dollar ones but much cheaper and works real nice.
I was really amazed how easy it carries.

So hit the yard sales and ebay for an old pack frame.

    All the stuff.

    I love it!

If I can't find an absolute steal on a Magnus Rack pack before next spring, I will be using a similar setup. I currently use a $25 fieldline pack from WalMart....but can tell your system is much more comfortable! haha

Ready for season tfox? I was up your way not too long ago heading up to IL, and will be alot more this fall. I'll have to work out stopping by for lunch one weekend.

Right now I am not working so give me a call anytime. It is quite comfortable.I was really surprised.

I was at Gander today looking around and they had packs for $150 and they were real nice but my chair wouldn't strap flat to it.BUT,it did have way more pouches and storage.

You need to go see Tracy at Sportsmans Headquarters and see if he can't get you the magnus.

I haven't been out yet to do any scouting but I plan on it this week.

Can't beat free! I've used the Rack Pack and a Badlands 2200. IMO, the 2200 will carry much more, including a chair that is quiet and comfortable, and it can also be used for purposes other than hunting out of a blind. Great concept behind the Rack Pack, but it's just too noisy for me to use on a deer hunt.
