I'm lucky enough to have plenty of room in my backyard for practice but I wanted something a little more permanent. My girls enjoy practicing with their bows but if I'm not around, they can't move their target out there by them selves. I finally got motivated today and built a bag stand for them and me. I used two pressure treated 4X4s and one 2X8 to put this together. The toughest part was trying to get the 4X4's set in the ground at the same depth. All-in-all, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The next step is to add a roof...that can wait though.

I like how you can hang two bags on your one stand. I'll be looking to build something like this next spring.
