I have a couple great bucks on camera but I really can't decide if I want to shoot them. Sure, it would make me happy, but then again, I think with one more year, they could really turn into something special. As I'm sure some will say, they may be killed by someone else before next year, I'm willing to take that chance, because if I shoot them, they surely won't make it. Who knows...maybe I'll get in the stand Saturday morning and one come walking in and I'll take him. Ultimately, I just want a deer that I have no doubts about - one that it big enough and I say to myself, "I want to shoot him now."

These are the two bucks that I'm referring to. I feel like I need to have made this decision before they're (hopefully) in front of me. And I really hate asking but maybe this will help me make my decision - what do you think the age and score of these bucks are?

If you have already shot bucks bigger than those two the answer would be easy for me..

If not let your heart answer the question when the moment of truth arrives

No other opinion matters but yours. They make you reach for you bow...you've answered yourself.

I'm checking cameras tomorrow morning, I feel like if the 9pt on the left is still in velvet, he might catch one.

Good luck Phil. It would be hard to pass these two, especially with a bow.

I'd be trying to line them up so I can take them all with a single shot.

How common is it to see bigger bucks in your hunting area? If these are common, than I would let them go for another year. If these are pretty much the biggest, than I would likely have one in the freezer at first opportunity.

I'd shoot them, especially if they are still in the velvet. I think that would be really special. But ultimately it's completely up to you.

It's hard to gauge the age of those deer from that pic.
Like they said though, if it makes you happy then shoot one! Everyone's goals are different.

Don't really see them much bigger than this in my area, at least I don't. Sure there are bigger ones out there but few and far between.

Sucks being you:) I'd say if you have to ask let them grow another year. Keep them happy and un-pressured where their at and look forward to 2016 season.

The one buck on the left appears to be a good mature deer. I would be letting the air out of him if given the chance. The rest of the bucks would get a pass from me. But that's just my opinion, do what makes you happy.

The one on the left looks to be the older deer.
It's never a gimme, unless you plan to hunt at 3am...

    Good luck this season.

Well, as you can see, this picture is from a few weeks go. I didn't bother to save any of the recents as there wasn't any point. But when I checked cams last week, he as well as a few others were showing up during the day light hours. I'll have a better idea when I check cams again tomorrow.

You gotta do what makes you happy. Personally I wouldn't think twice about reaching for the hoyt and letting it play a little string music on either two of those bigger deer. Don't think too much and shoot straight. Hopefully trophy photos to com!

I was just messin with ya! Good luck...

My 2 boys were arguing last weekend - we had several bucks coming in to 2 spots.
The youngest wanted to switch stands so he could kill the bigger buck.
WShen it was all said and done - a thunderstorm popped up 1 hour before dark and nothing came in.
I hated to see them both get skunked, but they deserved it after arguing. I told them Karma sucks...

Well, the 7pt came out a little early the other day. Hopefully he will do the same come Saturday. No sign of the 9pt though :/

I think this guy has great potential for next year.

And this is......demon deer. Kind of scary
    [IMG]

I am also excited to see what the guy on the right with the kicker at the base of his right beam can do

I probably would shoot one of the bigger ones but if I could keep myself from doing it I would wait.
