We all want to go home safe and also have no equip failure when the momenet arrises. Dont forget to check those stands and straps, safety harnesses, as well as all screws on your Bow. I was backyard shooting with the Z7x yesterday, shooting great at 20, moved back to 30 and my next 2 arrows went 8"high. I knew the shots felt good and gave the Bow a once over and found the rest had come loose. Thats the first time I have had that happen SO, check that equip out before you have it happen in the field.

Good post Crik! I had a similar issue a few weeks back where the cable on my drop-away rest had slid up an inch or so. This caused my launcher to not be raising up all the way and was giving me fits with tuning. As soon as I figured out what was going on and got it fixed, BAM - back in business. :tu:

Good tips guys. Now is a better time than ever to make sure everything is good to go.

Also don't forget to take a pee on opening day at the truck. I get so dang excited about walking out to that tree stand for the first time and I forget this often, haha.

Ever since I've joined this forum, I keep hearing "pee on every scrape". Since I'm not as seasoned as some of yall I've never actually believed yall meant this. Well curiosity got the best of me today while I was doing some scouting and I decided to try it out. I'm interested in this. Gonna check it out in about a week.
