All these threads about country singers, and no one's mentioend Blake Shelton yet that I've seen? Probably one of the purest and best country voices out there in my opinion...

That, and his bass player just sent me a text saying they'd just wrapped up a week of filming turkey hunting. Nothing like supporting one of our own!

Doing Michael Bublé songs makes a true a country singer!?! :busted:

Just kidding, Blake's alright but he should've left "Home" to Bublé

Actually, wahoo... quite a few people think Blake did a better job with that song than Buble did.

Regardless... if you ever hear Blake live -- especially accoustically -- his voice is just awesome.

Personally I could care less about country music if it is not Hank Williams Jr. or Johnny Cash. But aside from that Blake Sheldon may be one of the funniest guys I have ever watched. He has me lol everytime he is on. Truely someone I would love to hunt with. Man is he funny.

Agreed, I'm not trying to take anything away from Blake Shelton, I like a lot of his songs, I just don't think its fair to put him in the same league as Bublé given Bublé prowess on the international level

Old Red is top 5 songs ever on my list.

I have a HS turkey video guest starring him several years ago when he first got into filming....man he had me crackin up. Only funnier episode I have seen since was a TX hunt where he killed like 4 hogs in one afternoon, then killed one on the drive back to camp by hopping out of the truck, then asking the guide what the deal was, if they were tame or something.

Someone should give this man his own TV show!

Blake Shelton is my favorite country singer at this present time...

And I agree, he should have his own show.

I agree Shelton is a good singer, and GREAT on the shows. I liked the hog one but one of my favorites was on Bone Collector (I think). He was in the stand and a cow walked by. He slowly reached for his bow while staring down the cow. Looks back at the camera and says that he hopes he doesn't regret it but he's going to pass on this one because he knows there are bigger ones around. :lmao:

He's my favorite country artist as well, at this point and time.

He has been ever since the concert he put on at the ATA show.
