I agree, the electoral college needs to be put 6ft under. Unless republicans can capture the next generation of voters some how Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Its why a Rubio/Hasich ticket would probably be the Republicans best bet. I know just being from that state doesn't guarantee a victory, but I think they are both pretty popular in Florida and Ohio.
I could be completely wrong here...I know Clinton has baggage but I do see her as scary strong. The Libs see what they want and forget the rest. They take what they like about her and as a bonus they get slick Willie too.
He's not a politician, obviously he hasn't done anything politically. He isn't even politically correct, which is the reason he is probably going to win because America is sick of politicians. That is borderline a worse question than your previous Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think you are totally underestimating her. She would have won the nomination if it had not been for the droves of republicans that voted against her in the primary's because they were scared she could win the election. Obama's hype machine didn't really even get rolling until after that. The Republicans felt like he was the weaker of the two candidates and felt they could defeat him easier. I believe they underestimated the young(traditional non-voters) and the low-information voter. The only thing that can stop her from winning the nomination would be more scandal, but the media has done a wonderful job at glossing over/ignoring all of her dirty deeds.
Trump seems like a sensationalist. It may be working right now but when they start to dive deeper into political issues he may fall flat on his face.
I think he will win the GOP. Not saying anything about the election Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The RNC is not going to endorse him. He will have to run as an Independent. Then Hillary is guaranteed the next Presidency.
Who says they won't back him? He is more conservative than the entire group put together, and has just as good of chance at beating Hilary as any of them. That's all they care about Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The more I think about this the scarier it becomes...As much as I dislike Trump he is realistically the only one strong enough to give Hillary a run. And I'm still not sure it will be close.
I'm gonna disagre strongly with this statement. if that happens the only place politics will matter will be in NYC, LA, Chicago, and other Large cities and the small states and towns will be lost to the whims of inner city masses.
What scares me about Trump is does he have the humility to admit he doesn't know everything. What would he put together for a cabinet and would he actually listen to them.
You don't understand how the electoral college works then. That's how it's impossible for republicans to get elected. The whole state of Illinois, Cali, Ny, and penny's goes blue because of those cities and the republican country gets no vote. You just perfectly explained what is wrong with the electoral college Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not put under, just modified. Get rid of all or nothing. when 55% of the voters, vote for a candidate, they should not get 100% of the electoral votes. split electorals based on percentage of popular vote with any odd remainder going to the candidate who wins the popular vote for that state.
Why would we not go to a popular vote? Where on earth does a vote not get decided by a majority? Just count the votes for both sides. Keep it simple. We already count all the votes, anything else is just stupid This would fix the entire "my vote doesn't matter" argument Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
