I think we, that is my husband and I, will wait to make a decision about Trump until we see if he's serious. He will have to finance his own campaign. And I think he can afford to do it.

If he is serious and is willing to actually campaign, I think he has a lot to offer. We watched an interview by Bill O'Reilly and liked what we heard, but he will need to get more specific.

Can he win? I think he can. The only Republican we see that can't win is Jeb Bush, mostly because his name is Bush.

I guess he paid actors $50 each to stand and cheer and wave signs when he made his announcement...lol. Politics is funny to me.

Rick Santorum is the only logical choice.

Trump reminds me a whole lot of another candidate a few years ago Ross Perot. I have to admit that financing your own campaign certainly gives you the freedom to say what you like and you not be beholden to donors. It is refreshing to voice opinion without the PC spin on everything. Can he win, I would say no, he will be too polarizing and will not promise enough entitlements to those "less fortunate".

As a side bar I heard Rand Paul articulate his flat-tax plan today for both corporations and individuals and I have to say I was impressed. The tax system needs to be simplified in the worst way. 75,000 + pages of IRS regs, give me a break. Typical of the problem of government today.
