Yea looks like he scanned them all from prints and made a single digital file. He probably had his grandkids do it for him....I can picture the conversation. I just can't fantom how the hell you put that in your signature line. The guy has like 2000 posts ....that picture been plastered all over that forum. It's scary. Don't ask me why but this post reminds me of it.

That's a really cool story, except, Fred Bear didn't invent the compound bow. Holless Wilbur Allen did. He was granted a patent for it in 1969. He then partnered with Tom Jennings who was the first to mass produce/market it. Also, a trocar is a veterinary instrument that is designed to puncture the hide of an animal. It's usually used to relieve bloat in cattle. Its tip is identical in shape as a trocar tipped broadhead. I would bet money that is where the name came from and a car door had nothing to do with it. Either part or all of this story is made up or you got fed a long line of B.S. back in '83.
