We had a kid in my high school that was very Infeminist and so we either ignored him or picked on him and he's now living a gay life. Another kid was also a little gay acting and although we didn't seek his friendship he seeked ours and we excepted him and today he is married with kids.

I believe God made us all perfect in his eyes.

 

No. No way. No way, you, as a child, would rather a father beat you or drug addicted parents than having gay parents. No way. I can't even believe someone would even suggest this.

Though I don't feel the word Marriage and same sex should be used together, I do believe this is the correct ruling. This is a win for states rights, and I'm all for that. Allow the states to manage what is not specifically called out in the constitution. Our federal government umbrella has gotten way out of control.

 

My family is very dysfunctional but have two Dads or two Moms in my day you'd really be an outcast.

As far as homosexuality being normal, you are wrong. Whether you are a Theist or evolutionist, the two sexes are designed for procreation. There is not an animal out there where the female of the species lives and reproduces with other females or the males live and reproduce with males. Therefore it is not normal, it is abnormal. What we are doing here is taking one more step away from the path of morality. Next it will be pedophilia and what other perverted abnormal behavior demanding that they were born this way and have a right to do their thing. If two homosexuals want to have their private life, so be it, but don't demand that others accept your non-normal behavior.

 

I cannot comprehend why people always bring up marrying animals, pedophilia, etc when talking about homosexuals. Can you people not comprehend what consenting adults mean? Seriously?

 

Earlier you argued it was normal, when shown that it is not normal you now argue it's a "consent" issue. Is that now the base for this discussion?

 

I've been anxiously following this waiting for a motown comment. Gotta say I'm disappointed so far.

While I'm repulsed by the idea, and personally feel that the word marriage means something else, I couldn't care less about what they do and it doesn't affect me. While I'd like to see a word other than marriage used, I do feel that everyone should be able to have the same rights. I think it was mentioned earlier, but maybe we change the word for legal purposes for both traditional and gay marriages to legal union, etc. With all that said I think there are far more important things I think we need to worry about as a country.

 

Define normal. Homosexuality is common enough these days, that yes, I would define it as normal. Homosexual behavior has been observed in all kinds of animals, not just humans.

I bring up consent when you retards try to compare homosexuality to pedophilia and bestiality.

 

It is becoming more accepted. But, to ever call homosexuality normal or natural behavior is an extreme stretch in my opinion. I may be more tolerant of it some day, but, I don't think I will ever consider it to be normal or natural.
