I agree that denying the rights of any american, regardless of religion, race, or sexual orientation, is un-american.

Notice religion and sexual orientation are grouped TOGETHER?!?!? So for all you religious wack-doodles out there, you are just as persecuted as your fellow human homosexuals, and you all need to stick together. If anything, this is a victory for religion!

Personally, I dont really find that much interest in homosexual pursuits. I also don't find much interest in religion. BUT both gays and religious nuts are FUNNY!!!!

The separation of church and state is not in the constitution, bill or rights or any other legal document. It was in a letter from Jefferson the Danbury Baptist Church. Freedom of religion is the declaration that there will be no state sponsored religion. It does not say that we should turn our back on religion.

What if mine says I can drink your beer, or burn your house? That should be my freedom?

I think in 2013, we have bigger problems then gay marraige.

Like corruption. Or too many people accepting government handouts. Or gas prices.

No dude. You don't get it. Gay people want to get married. This has absolutely no affect on your life in any way shape or form, but you should be absolutely outraged that 2 strangers that you will never meet want to get married.

Unlike your argument, gay marriage doesn't infringe upon or hurt any one, except for maybe the "taker" in the relationship, who is apparently a willing participant, so no foul there.

What about when the schools start trying to teach my children how" normal" homosexuality and gay marriage is, does it not effect me then?

They don't have to teach it. Homosexuality is normal. It is everywhere. And once gay marriage becomes legal, it will be normal as well.

Very True. This government is GREAT at getting people to pay attention to one thing as the rest of our society crumbles!

I can't believe people get so riled up about this topic still. Who cares what two people want to do in their personal life. Its not gonna ruin marriage or humanity as we know it. I won't get into my beliefs on religion, that'll start a war, bu for people that are or have been prosecuted for their beliefs throughout history sure are easy to pass judment quick on somebody elses beliefs because it goes against their own or how they feel everyone one should live they're life.

Good post. Lot's of people on here freak out when one of their freedoms is being threatened but have no problem trying to deny others. I just don't understand why anyone gives a ****.

Good day for divorce attourneys... but remember... where there's marriage, there's divorce. They've had the good life, they don't realize what they just created for themselves.
