    If it is a ridgeback it will have a line of hair on top of it's back that grows in the opposite direction of it's other hair. If not, it's probably not a ridgeback.

    She does not have the line of hair in the opposite direction, however I'd read that sometimes ridgys do not have the line. We are thinking of doing the DNA test.

    This is true. Ridge less does happen.
