I got the results of the DNA test today. I’m fairly certain they will be useless for tracking purposes.
Chief if you ever need some space on the recliner and want the dogs to go lay on the floor. Go to this website and pick up some dog blankets, the dogs would rather lay on those blankets than on your lap. They may seem expensive but our dogs and Larry tend to destroy their bed style pads they do not chew or destroy these blankets, we have some human blankets on the couch is they are not available the dogs will go to their bedroom and lay on their blankets. Oh and they are awesome blankets for humans as well warm and weighted.
That's is actually a great mix of dog. Smart , strong, loyal, actually family friendly. Socialize often with other dogs and people. They'll make great scent dogs with training, I'll bet. That said you have two breeds with some sneaky health issues. Just do a touch of research to be aware ahead of any issues, THAT I AM SURE WON'T HAPPEN
Bubba and Bucko went in today to have the "boys" removed. Being spayed or neutered is a requirement to be part of our pack. Well, thankfully not for me. They're both back home and doing well. The vet told us not to feed them tonight because they would just throw it up. When suppertime arrived my wife couldn't stand feeding the other four and not giving the pups something, so she gave each of them half a can of canned food. All I could do is shake my head and say "Well, you're cleaning it up."
Be sure to get some photos of these two out and about in the coming months/years, I will be interested to see how they grow and the happy life they live. Dogs end up where they are for a reason, just like these two. Bailey has epilepsy, he was about 9 months with out a seizure, I did not check his bowl Saturday morning and he missed a dose of his medication. Cluster seizures Sunday morning 3 of them, but like you do for your dogs we give him the best life we can. Some may have thrown in the towel on him, but we like you we love our dogs. It warms my heart to see these two dogs of yours thriving!!! Bailey would love to meet them I bet, he's a Wildman
