We have had many threads here discussing ways to spook deer away from our stands in the evenings. I think we can all agree that having a friend drive up in an ATV or truck is the best answer. However, that is not always possible for a lot of us. So, I was sitting in the stand thinking about what we could do. I thought about a dog whistle. I have never tried it. I'm not even sure a deer would react to it. I just thought it would be something to discuss on here. Has anyone tried this, or heard of someone trying it? It might be the dumbest thing ever mentioned on this forum, I don't know. But it might work too. lol

What if you have deer 20-30 yards away?

I like the dog whistle idea.

Yep deer within 25 to 30 yards, just have to take your time over 10 minutes to climb down.
