I've hunted about 15 sits so far and am seeing very little.
We had a couple encouraging days of trail camera pictures but I think maybe just 1 doe popped and a couple bucks started moving

I left my hunting cabin Sunday morning to head home and while driving in the dark we saw deer in fields etc

SEVERAL doe's still had fawns with them, this means these does aren't ready to go so the bucks are cruising looking for hot does because there aren't hot does yet.

    I'm hunting NW Missouri
    Very frustrating

I don't see separation from the fawns they don't disperse some years usually more when the next fawns are born.

The does will only run off the button bucks. If the male fawn hangs around when she goes hot the big bucks will hurt it. That is why you see lots of buttons out by themselves in October. They will form up in bachelor herds usually by December. Part of the reason there is fewer bucks. Young does will stay with mom and often bred in December.
Now in areas where there 20 does per buck she may not have been bred till January and not push the button out till November.
