    I occasionally watch scary shows before bed and fall asleep, no problem. However, after watching "Pint Sized Preachers" on the NGC I had to turn the lights on before bed, specifically proceeding the segment on this little preacher....

    I watched this. Sad. He has obviously been coached very well. And most of the stuff he was saying made no sense. He just imitated the actions and mannerisms of other preachers that he has seen.

    Actually pentecostal sermons can be very entertaining and scary at the same time. I dated a girl once insisted I go with her at least once. She dumped me shortly after because "she could not be with a guy who didn't understand her relationship with God" just because I asked her why people wail their arms around :lol:

    I really don't like to get involved in theological discussions, but I believe that this list of requirements addressed the appointing/selecting/electing (whichever you prefer) of church leaders. A "Bishop" is an "overseer". The church I grew up attending called the men who held this position "Elders", which is also a scriptural title for the position. It's just my take on it, but the Preacher/Minister (again, whichever you prefer) isn't supposed to have the authority that this position brings with it.

    In my opinion, when you have a situation where the "Preacher" is the MAN in charge, you have a dangerous situation on your hands.
