agreed. It is a beautiful deer, but it is not proportionate to the guy holding it. If that makes any sense...:confused:

That really is an outstanding buck! But, it being killed over bait removes some of the accomplishment in my eyes.

If you know the tricks, you can really blow up the animal in the pictures to make them look a lot bigger.Bass fisherman do it all the time and professional photographers too.
Ever notice how much bigger the bucks on those hunting videos look after the shot and recovery?

I don't think there's a hunter on here that would pass the deer. Congrats to this guy.

i agree im not impressed. he didnt spend three years scouting and learning its ways. he put out a mineral lick! any idiot who can purchase a trail camera, a mineral lick, and shoot 22 yards would have harvested this deer. Hes just lucky enough to have permission to the land. It is an awsome animal .. just the way it was harvested isnt impressive.

That is an awesome animal! In one of the pictures it looks like it's the size of an elk.

That dude is as small as a jockey! That and he is about 2'-3' behind it. You can tell because his arms are extended.

Yes i know this was a "300+" lbs deer on hoof but i look at the hooves and they look to be about the size of an elk's? But like others have said it was baited too and that i think kinda also takes away from the trophy too. I mean im not going to say i wouldn't want it on my wall but i was just wondering other's thoughts on this.

I really don't have a problem with baiting myself while I DON'T hunt over bait. It's not legal in Tennessee. But it's no different than hanging a feeder and hunting a trail 100 yards from it or hanging a stand where you know deer are entering a food plot.
Either way,you hunting a food source. The bait just happens to be placed there by the hunter.

no doubt its a big buck, no doubt hes long arming it (which I do too) and no doubt hes a little guy. The baiting thing knocks it down a few rungs for me, but thats me and its his buck.
