Does the NFL have the right to enforce marijuana usage policies for players in CO?

We are starting to see a lot of "medicinal" marijuana arrive here in VA. Packages are being sent through the mail with oatmeal marijuana, brownie marijuana, and just flat out marijuana labelled as being medicinal. I got a guy with 11 ounces of weed and crack cocaine the other day. He thought it would be real smart to sit around in a car with two other guys smoking crack and nearly a pound of weed in the car.

If they don't test them, Denver will be the GOAT because everyone will want to play there. :fro:

If weed was a PED, Ricky Williams would have been the best football player ever. :)

The NFL can do whatever they want. My guess is they will keep the ban since most state have banned it and it's still against federal law.

Here's my issue with legal weed. To the best of my knowledge, they have not been able to come up with an impairment test like they do for alcohol. You would have to admit that weed impairs your motor skills and reaction time. People that drive impaired are a risk to everyone. I'm not sure how Colorado's laws handle this, but I don't want to get into an accident because someone decided to light up and drive, just like I don't want to get into one because someone decided to get drunk and drive. At least with alcohol, the police can give a test and immediately arrest someone for driving drunk. I'm not sure they can for being high on weed.
