Well ? My bow is tuned, i may switch to fixed blades, i know i will have to tune to them, if i change my fletch also to quick fletch. Will my 1 pin sight yardage be off or just windage and rest, knock point etc?

I think im over thinking everything so close to the season

My fixed blades hit the same spot as my field points without changing the knock or rest. Originally this was not the case. I brought it to a shop and the guy lined everything up and now they both shoot spot on.

Same deal with me. I even paper tuned mine and was getting good holes. Have you tried shooting any broadheads since you took it to the shop?

No not yet, I just picked up some Muzzy MX4. Gonna try as soon as the freakin rain stops....
Does it really matter if you try to balance your blades with the fletching. ? or is this an ole wives tale?

That is what I am currently shooting. And to be honest I don't know if it helps or not. Someone else will have to help ya with that.

The longer the shot the more important everything be lined up and tuned. 75 yd shot out west is a MUCH bigger deal than a 15 yd shot in the woods at a whitetail in my opinion. THings just gotta work that much better at the longer yardages. I spend much more time tuning my arrows especially on a hunt out West. Bow is still paper tuned etc no matter where I hunt, but the arrows get a lot more TLC for the longer shots.

No lining blades with fletch is an old wives tale. I have also given up on paper tuning. I found that every shot switched between bullet hole and slightly off. Some one here suggested French tuning and I tried that. Afterwards I broadhead tuned (fixed blade Montecs) and shot field points and broadheads at right about the same spot out to 40 yards. Don't plan on taking any shots that far but I just wanted to see.
