Does hitting scrape already.

    I got several does hitting a scrape, That scrape has been there for 3 years and was last freshened up in turkey season.

    Deer will often check out licking branches year-round, not just during the rut. They use them as a means of communication for keeping tabs on who is in what areas throughout the year. This is why a lot of people will use a preorbital gland scent to start a mock scrape during the late summertime.

    I thought it was neet too. I got pics of several does nuzzling the branches this week. I believe that scrape will get real hot and I will for sure put a stand there next week !

    I run cameras at scrapes year round. One of the best ways i have found to keep an inventory of what deer are hanging around
