Does "dip" chewing tobacco hurt you when you hunt?

    man i really wish i could quit....hardest thing i ever had to do in my life.....well i havnt done it yet..haha but its pretty hard..i have tried a few times..go for 2 or 3 days..then i feel like my lips fresh...there i go..by a can..its gone by dark....

    Not good a good thing by no means...its hard though when all your friends are doing it around you..

    Thanks Dubbya, I appreciate it. I don't need something haunting my health for the rest of my life. Hunting season really brings out the desire to chew in me for some reason.

    Not sure if it spooks deer but it might negatively impact your hunting none the less. Down the road you might not get quite as many seasons to hunt. I think I would be more concerned with that aspect.

    Wow....sounds like I need to start buying chew elsewhere. Grizzly here is $2.99....prolly 75 cents where you all are at LOL.

    I've chewed Grizzly Wintergreen since grade school...

    this is the first year I won't be chewing on stand for a very long time.

    oh and it's like 3.50 a tin here :(

    dang..thats alot..i have been chewing grizzly wintergreen for about 8 years...its 2.35 $ can .....

    Them snuff things dont do it for me..i gotta put like 5 in my mouth to satisfy me.

    i have been chewing pouches though when im in my stand..so i can just spit it all out easy....so i dont make a mess..

    I get the bug from time to time during the season. As a former chewer turned smoker. I always chewed on stand. Now I have been free of both for a year and a half. It's my second season without nicotine and I won't lie and say that I don't miss it, but I don't miss alot of the stuff that comes with it.

    I'd love to be able to enjoy a cig or a chew on occasion, I just know that I am not capable of it, so I don't. On subject though, I don't think that chewing can hurt you in the scent game unless you have some form of breath control in place that it would be harming.
