Over the last couple years iv gone bow-hunting, i started using different techniques to attract and bring in the big bucks/deer for example iv used food plots, grunted, and put out scent but last year i used Buck Bomb. Does Buck Bomb actually work or is it a waste of money?
some people swear by products like that....me personally , id worry more about covering my own scent and spend more time hunting travel coridors and feeding areas.
I had a nice big 10 point probably would have scored 180s or so come into a buck bomb in 2011 right before right actually started i should have waited to take the shot because he was going right towards the can but instead i took the first chance that i got and i missed the deer by hitting a lil branch but i believe on a certain day it works. The day that i use this can i used it because there was hardly no wind but within about an hour or so this buck came in. I know i have used them in the past and had no luck with them but when i bought it that time it was on sale like 4 bucks a can so i tried it again...Thats my story
I've used them and had little to no success with them....Yet upon leaving my area of hunting at the end of the night. I've caught deer sneaking into the area. It's a thing of timing. Once I used Deer Quest Rutrageous smoking sticks and had a deer run in so fast it scared the be-Jesus outta of me I thought a bear of something was about to kill me or something. I've had one big 10pt come in when I was half-way up a tree, but decided against the shot. The thing is the right time if a deer is in the Rut they will be attracted if not the scent will run them away, to me it's about timing scouting a area and hunting pressure. If the pressure is heavy you could have gold out there deer isn't coming. Find a secluded area very little pressure and some scents will work. Outside of that...Good Luck
