That's exactly how I feel about them, Hence the post wondering why some don't use them... And I've not heard of a bad reason not too either.

I hunt a suburban area with crackheads, and local kids from the subdivisions constantly tromping through the woods, after watching my uncle get many stolen along with the hunters adjacent to us...I have become to cheap to put one out. I do love to see the pictures from local guys and my uncle though. I bought a nice one one time, had battery issues and took it back.

Theres a word I have heard in a while (hence)

I do not own one currently - the main reason is my lands are all 50 miles one way - Looks like they could be very addicting and would be nice to identify what your land holds - may take a chance next year but we'll see when the time comes

I was rooting for the bear, Damn:D

I use to think like Joe, but I change my mind and love them. For me it was all about time, and I just don't have enough time to scout the way I would like.

I just purchased one and am waiting for it in the mail.

Never got one before because I just almost 100% public land. With that said, I don't like buying anything that is going to get stolen.

I'll be very careful with this one and not complain if it gets swiped....although I hate the fact that other hunters take crap that do not belong to them.

I'm excited to see when deer move through an area and in which directions.
