Random Fun Fact: Don't buy any meat flavored vape! Sounds like a no brainer but people have done it, I am not sure why exactly but artificial meat flavoring (Beef, Bacon, Chicken) are very unsafe and unhealthy to vape. My favorite my Sycodrops is Fresh Strawberry and peppermint mocha.
The Nautilus will usually last me 2 full days. Other tanks like the Protank-2 and the kanger, may only last one full work day depending on how much you hit your vape. I want to recommend the Itaste MVP. This is hands down the best MOD out right now for the money. My battery last about 4 days and the MVP has the ability to charge other devices via usb. Awesome little mod for hunting, when your phone dies you just hook it to your mod and it will charge it for up to 4 hours.
LOL, I saw some bacon flavored juice yesterday somewhere and the thought crossed my mind that I know a lot of people tha twould probably try that, I thought it sounded gross, haha. That's a good run on one tank full! I know I've read where one normal e-cigg like a Blu is supposed to be the equal to like a pack or so. My thought on the Twist was to keep the size down some and still have good battery life because I know those are two things dad will pick out to complain about right off the bat. I think after he gets the idea that he may actually like vaping better than smoking, he will accept something far bigger and better. I think it's one thing to try to simulate a cigg but another totally to embrace the full potential of vaping. Once a person gets the mindset they don't need a cigg simulator and a mod doesn't need to be a cigg facsimile then things will go smoother, I hope. Hopefully it works but more likely I'll end up throwing a couple hundred bucks away for the effort, lol. Oh well, I'd gladly toss out a couple grand to get him off ciggs.
Great timing for this thread. I too have been doing a bunch of research on this stuff to try and help my parents out. I just picked up a little stater kit at out store here (ego t ce4) I got some of the bakers flavor with 0mg of nicotine in them. They have worked out really well so far and I'm going to do the same thing as covey master lol I'll walk in with it and they will freak out about it. Then I'll give them the talk and let them know what I found out. If nothing else I have a little toy to mess around with here and there if I want to. Sent from my iPhone
Haha, Highfive! (I hate fistbump, lol) Good luck with it, I thought the same thing as far as a toy to play with, haha. I figured it nothing else I'll have an expensive aroma therapy device, hahaha. Besides I really did enjoy all the education from the research, I love finding something interesting, obsessing over it and sucking up as much education as I possibly can. Must be something I picked up from high school and all of college being a crash course lackey, lol.
Wait until you build your first coil, which you should, you start feeling like some Dragon constantly blowing smoke everywhere you go. Plus it just taste better right? lol
Haha, I've barely touched on the possibility of building stuff for vaping. I saw a couple of vids on youtube about it but figured I had about more than I could handle now just learning about whats available and how it works. Maybe at some point I'll get into that stuff a bit. I think the equipment looks cool so I could see keeping an interest that way but I've never had any interest at all in actually inhaling and smoking and am not prone to recreational usage of substances of any kind. I'd never have touched any of this stuff had it not been for the circumstances. Still, a lot of this equipment is freaking cool and I'm a mechanical type guy so it has a certain appeal, I'm also into aroma therapy stuff so there is a little to interest me about it.
They worked for me.. I used one a few years ago to quit smoking. After about a month with the ecig, I put it down and walked away. Havent smoked since.
I personally got headaches all the time. And one of the e cigs I tried had me coughing up blood. Could of been the brand, and like stated just my opinion. I personally feel they are no safer. To each their own
Headaches were likely because of the wrong dosage of nicotine, coughing up blood was probably due to the lungs starting to clear out after years of ciggs and then quitting. Once lung function starts to improve after being off ciggs, they try to eject all the crap that's been accumulating for years. Blood might also have just been from an irritated esophagus. I spit up blood once when I had a severe cough from pneumonia....and I've never smoked.
Thanks, I also enjoyed reading about it and figuring out how it worked. I'm sure I'll look into mods and all that but for now this little starter will do. I've also seen some videos on smoke tricks so I've being doing a little bit of that too. It's fun to try and do new things I'm getting decent at a few of them lol Sent from my iPhone
