Try the app deer scouter you can mark anything sightings, beds, rubs scrapes, trailcams, treestands etc.. It's pretty awesome I just started logging alot of info into it for future reference I strongly recommend it
I have a journal that I only post in after a hunt I kill a deer. I've had it going for 5 or 6 years now and it's great for either looking back to reminisce or if you're looking to pattern your deer. I do mine for the memories personally.
I keep a log and each season we keep a map with colored dots... There is 5 of us that hunt in a particular area and it helps us to see the flow of the deer that season....
I have a modded Android Phone combined with Auto upload from Google+ . So Anytime I want to make a note I 1) go to my weather app that shows wind direction pressure etc.. 2) screen shot my screen modded so all i do is hit the power button and choose screen-cap. -it auto uploads with the location information and time to google+ (in a private album mind you its not shared) 3) review and post and add what I saw that triggered me to capture that info the next time at a computer.
