I've only caught 2 Elk hunting pics/stories I believe this year on here...sure thought there would be some more.

I yearn to learn...give me your Elk pics and stories if you got 'em!
    Thanks!

I love to hunt elk, I just can't draw a tag every year. Here are a couple of real short videos from a couple of past hunts.

This bull came down and stood broadside for 5 minutes and had no idea I was there. Only problem was that I had just filled my tag a few minutes prior with the spike shown below!

    ... and Colorado.

I was there two years in row until this year, and went on my antelope trip instead.

Although it was a great time and I got to hook up with some good friends for the trip to Wyoming chasing speedgoats, I quickly came to a conclusion: I'll never do a trip "in lieu of" elk hunting again; anything done in the future will always be done "in addendum to." I'll never miss a year of elk hunting again.

Great pics Dubbs...and Holy Shnikeys is right...how awesome was that stampede?

Greg, I got a feeling one Elk hunt will fully infect me to feel the same way about going each year...
...guess I could take the summer family mountain vacations and turn them into scouting trips:)
