Doe with healed over wound

    Any theories what could have done this? I was thinking grazed bullet or slug, not sure if that is possible or not.

    Maybe she got stuck on some nasty barbed wire or other type of fence.

    Could be a number of things, even running through thick brush or under a widowmaker.

    If I had to make a guess I would say that it was a mountain lion. I bet it came after her and she had to hold it back by its throat while she stabbed it with her pocket knife. She is a pretty strong doe....


    Or a fence could of done it but I have my theories
