I have still seen what looked like rutting activity at the end of February, so I would say it seems possible but not likely. I can say for sure that I had a small deer, the size of a fairly young fawn walk by my one time while I was rifle hunting in November. Very, Very small deer. Didn't have spots, but not even close to any of the other fawns that were running around that year.
Just turned the camera back on about a week ago . It has been off since April. Looking at the other pics I have of her she looks like she is ready to pop.
It wouldn't surprise me. My last camera pull (last Sunday) from behind my house had a video of a doe with a tiny newborn fawn.
I've seen fawns with spots in late November but I have also seen does that eat too much alfalfa during a dry spell and bloat a little.
I just seen a doe with twin fawns this past friday while scouting also. They were significantly smaller than most yearlings I see this time of year. I actually could still see a few spots left on them, thought it was crazy as heck.
Definitely could be. In 2016 I had a fresh dropped fawn stumble around me while I was on stand the 2nd week in September. Does will keep going in heat until they are breed, so it can happen anytime. Sent from my SM-G900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
