Have you guys ever had a doe on your hit list? The last 2 years that hunting on this one place theres a doe with no tail. I call her stumpy because of that. Almost every time i go out she busts me. Every time. I had other deer walk under my stand not see or smell me but she some hows does. Shes going down this year.

2 years ago I had a doe that would constantly kick the other does, so I started hunting her specifically. She doesn't bully deer anymore :)

I had one on my list... same thing... kept busting me... She came in like clockwork at 1:00 in the afternoon and bedded down 75 yards from my stand in some cat-tails. If I tried hunting that stand in the afternoon, she would blow and take every deer in the woods with her on her way out. I think she died of old age.

We had one on trail cam with a broken leg and a bad limp/hop. All 4 of us made it priority #1 to take her out that fall because she looked like she was hurting. Of course, after countless summer pictures, just like a big buck she disappeared during the season never to be seen again.

Got a couple mature does I would like to take out if I harvest a buck. They are getting too wise.

Well it happens again tonight. Stumpy came in with 2 other does and she pushed the 2 does away from me. She pushed them towards my buddy that was hunting on the other side of the land. well he din't know she was the lead deer and he was trying to get the secound deer behind her. Well some how stumpy freaked out about something and she ran away. The others did the same. He didn't get a shot at any of them.
He gets down from his stand at the end of the hunt and walks over. The first thing out of his mouth was "she has to go".

That deer looks bloated Fitz. She may have eaten a coyote. Be afraid.

I have a doe that i missed for the last 2 years on opening day. She is HUGE and smart. I know she is like a 5 year old doe. And on PA public ground that deer is as smart as they get. I hope to get her with my bow but if she doesn't cross my path i may have to lay the smack down with a gun. I respect this animal so much and would love to harvest her the "hard" way.
