I used HS products but mainly because they are local for me. They work very well too. Doe Estrus. and Dominate buck Urine.

I have never had any luck at all with scents, so I dont generally buy them that often.

my buddy and i always get the big ones close using does estrus. He uses that special golden urine and swears by it and i have used it multiple times with no luck. on the other hand every time i use a buckbomb i get some interest from bucks.. I shot my largest buck to date from 11 yards off of the ground when he stopped and smelled the cap that i layed down filled with it. im a firm believer its what works in your area or mimicks the urine of a doe that is in estrus near by.

Another trick is drag rags. I like to hunt pinch points not necessarily trails just where i feel a buck will cross when cruising. Last year i would get to my stand and then go out to a few trails and drag the doe urine from the trail right to my tree.. had two bucks follow it right to me last year so it deffinately works. Just a thought

I had success with Tinks 69 Doe-In-Rut Buck Bomb and Scent Web She-Heat...those spray nozzles freeze up in the cold so don't leave them outside overnight...:tu:

Any of you guys that hunt in Nothern Wisconsin see any signs of chasing or increased activity at all? Going up next weekend and want to get a feel for what's going on! Also post any sweet trailcam pics!

I had some younger bucks take interest in the code blue i used a couple sits last year. Instead of buying the expensive contraption that heats up the scent to make it disperse better, i just activiate and soak a hot hands packet in the code blue and hang it in a tree or leave it on the ground within bow range. I've never had a shooter come in while doing this, but i raised the attention of a lot of 1.5, 2.5, and 3.5 year olds.

Guys that buck bomb stuff....do you spray the whole can? I bought a can a few years ago and if I remember correctly it said to turn on and then climb up. I'm curious how much your spraying per sit.

I've had some luck with buck bomb also. I just spray a few seconds from my stand...maybe a little on some brush in a shooting lane also. Not the whole can for me.
