I think this goes back further than Todd thought. After watching Season 4: Episode 14 with Dean, he also mentioned the doe with the split ear was on his hit list just like Tom did in this weeks show. Luckily neither had named the does they said were on their hit lists.
I was just getting on here to make the same observation. Looks like there has been a doe hit on a hit lit for for a while now.
I guess if you're doing targeted herd management then a doe hit list is a good thing. For example we have about 5 or six does that stay in the same area that haven't been seen with fawns in the last 3 seasons. These are old big headed does that seem to have gotten super smart but aren't doing anything to further the herds population. So we told our guys if you see these does punch their ticket for them. I like a doe hit list but call it something like the Freezer Meat market or something.. LOL
